Delhi Court Grants Interim Protection to AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in Police Obstruction Case

Police allege Khan led a mob that interfered with the arrest of Shahbaz Khan, a proclaimed offender in a 2018 attempted murder case, though Khan claims the individual was already on bail.
The court criticized the police for procedural lapses, including the absence of CCTV footage from the raid and unclear documentation about Shahbaz Khan's status as a proclaimed offender.
Separately, the Delhi High Court issued a notice to Khan in a money laundering case related to his tenure as Waqf Board chairman, with further hearings scheduled for March 21.
