Delhi Completes 70% Drain Desilting, Fixes 3,433 Potholes Ahead of Monsoon

Overview

  • The PWD reported completion of roughly 70% of desilting work across 2,064 km of drains as of June 24, deploying mechanized systems and two-year maintenance contracts.
  • On June 24, a one-day campaign repaired 3,433 potholes over 1,400 km of PWD roads using geo-tagged, time-stamped documentation and 200 maintenance vans.
