Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Unveils ₹100-Crore Works in R.K. Puram

The rollout draws on an early ₹700 crore allocation that guarantees constituency-level projects.

Overview

  • The package includes road construction and repairs, renovation of chaupals, upgrades to community centres, park beautification, open gym installations and new boundary walls.
  • MP Bansuri Swaraj, RK Puram MLA Anil Sharma, Municipal Councillor Dharamveer Singh and other local leaders attended the launch.
  • A day earlier, three Ayushman Arogya Mandirs opened in WP Block, VP Block (Pitampura) and Haiderpur, alongside an Atal Canteen near Badli Mor offering meals for ₹5.
  • The primary-care centres will provide doctor consultations, essential diagnostics, free medicines, immunisation and basic treatment with a focus on seniors, women and children.
  • Gupta said the drive prioritises jhuggi clusters and revives stalled services including pensions, new ration cards, electricity connections, Yamuna cleaning efforts and pollution reduction through electric buses.
