Delhi CM Presses LG to Fast-Track Long-Delayed Master Plan 2041

The push follows years of delay in a citywide blueprint that will guide land use and services.

Overview

  • Saxena responded that the administration remains focused on the plan and is working to implement it at the earliest.
  • Under the Dilli Gramodaya Abhiyan, ₹960 crore was transferred to the DDA, with projects worth ₹760 crore completed and works in 50 villages launched at a cost of ₹13 crore, according to the LG.
  • The CM and LG launched 81 rural development projects, with officials citing a broader slate of 854 sanctioned works to upgrade halls, roads, parks, and multipurpose centers.
