• Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the 29th edition at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, and announced it will run until August 10.
• For the first time, the event incorporates the 25th Stationery Fair alongside the 9th Office Automation and Corporate Gifts Fair.
• The Federation of Indian Publishers and ITPO organized the fair in collaboration with the Delhi government to unite publishers, educational institutions and cultural organizations.
• Gupta highlighted books as “lifelong companions” and pledged continuous government backing for events that support publishers and readers.
• Culture Minister Kapil Mishra described the fair as a “literary Kumbh” and endorsed plans to evolve it into a comprehensive literary festival.
