  • The investigation began with the May 12 arrest of Manish Bhatle near Shri Ram Institute, who was found carrying sacks containing the controlled substances without prescriptions or bills.
  • Further questioning resulted in the arrests of Devender, Nikhil, Ankit Gupta, and Kapil, who were linked through a multi-tier supply network operating in Delhi.
  • Police are continuing their investigation and are seeking an absconding supplier, Rakesh, identified as a key figure in the drug distribution chain.
