Delhi and KEIA to Pilot Korean Hydrogen and Pollution Control Technologies

Backed by Seoul’s ODA program, the collaboration will bring Korean green technologies to Delhi to strengthen the city’s environmental action plan.

Overview

  • On June 16, 2025, Delhi’s environment minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa met with a delegation from the Korea Environmental Industry Association to explore potential projects under South Korea’s ODA framework.
  • The meeting covered hydrogen energy systems, digital air quality monitoring, upcycling and circular economy initiatives, pollution control technologies and academic research partnerships.
  • KEIA expressed readiness to launch pilot projects and establish joint knowledge-sharing platforms with Delhi government departments and agencies.
  • Both sides weighed plans for a Korea–India Environmental Innovation Forum in Delhi to convene technology providers, urban administrators and international experts.
  • The cooperation feeds into Delhi’s environmental action plan, which aims to lower industrial emissions, strengthen circular economy models and build climate-resilient infrastructure.
