• Foreign passengers arriving at IGI can file arrival details online up to three days before landing via the Bureau of Immigration site, the Indian Visa website, the Su-Swagatam app, or the Delhi Airport website.
• The digital form replaces paper disembarkation cards at counters to reduce queues and cut paper use.
• Delhi International Airport Limited is launching the facility under the Bureau of Immigration as part of the government’s Digital India push, with plans to extend it to other entry points.
• The announcement came shortly before the go-live, so authorities and analysts expect uptake to build as travelers become aware of the option.
• The rollout complements the Fast Track Immigration–Trusted Traveller Programme launched at Delhi in June 2024 for Indian nationals and OCI cardholders, which uses automated e-gates and biometric checks for rapid clearance.
