• Provenance includes a handwritten receipt dated 19 January 1992 stating it was used on the Only Fools and Horses set and naming J. Williams and S. P. Haberfield.
• The Italian-made Mascagni Mobili piece measures roughly 107cm by 106cm and was a fixture in the Trotters’ flat, often paired with a gold pineapple ice bucket.
• A comparable bar signed by David Jason sold for about £3,800 in 2012, and this example is thought to be one of three or four used for the show.
