Overview
- DeFi Development publicly rolled out the State of Solana dashboard on Aug. 26, 2026 as a free, no-login site that aggregates real-time Solana metrics.
- The dashboard displays price returns, epoch progress, slot times, transactions per second, staking yield, inflation, validator distribution and the Nakamoto coefficient.
- The company disclosed it holds roughly 2.29 million SOL and runs validator and staking operations as part of a treasury strategy measured by a SOL Per Share target of 1.0 by December 2028.
- DFDV has grown revenue from digital-asset activities but reported large net losses and uses a $200 million at-the-market equity program to fund SOL accumulation while its stock trades well below the notional value of its holdings.
- By centralizing network data the tool could help institutional allocators do due diligence but it also makes any operational or decentralization weaknesses in Solana more visible to investors and the market.
