  • Service members, DoD civilians and families can dial 833-MIL-MOVE, email [email protected] or use the PCS JTF Spotlight webpage for worldwide relocations assistance.
  • Trained call center personnel log each issue into a centralized tracking system and deliver personalized status updates until cases are fully resolved.
  • Task force leaders project that roughly 40 percent of calls routed through 833-MIL-MOVE will be escalated to the PCS JTF center for direct intervention.
  • The new support hub operates under Maj. Gen. Lance G. Curtis, following Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s June establishment of the PCS Joint Task Force to tackle longtime move challenges.
  • The PCS JTF is preparing formal recommendations for comprehensive Defense Personal Property Program reforms due to Secretary Hegseth by September 5, 2025.
