Def Leppard Set for Hollywood Walk of Fame Star on Oct. 9

The honor underscores a career still in motion, with new songs planned ahead of a 2026 residency followed by a Europe–U.K. tour.

Overview

  • The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. PT at 1750 N. Vine St. in Los Angeles, in front of the Capitol Records building.
  • Jon Bon Jovi and UMe CEO Bruce Resnikoff will deliver remarks, Bob Buchmann will emcee, and a live stream will run on the Walk of Fame website.
  • Def Leppard will receive the Walk of Fame’s 2,825th star in the Recording category.
  • The band’s 2025 itinerary includes an Oct. 11 show in Gary, Indiana, followed by a 12-date Las Vegas residency in February 2026 and a Europe–U.K. run in mid-2026.
  • Frontman Joe Elliott says the group is working on a new album, with plans to release songs ahead of those 2026 dates and a full set targeted for late 2026 or early 2027.
