Overview
- The animal entered the city from the Valorio forest around 15:00 and took refuge in the San Martín public parking after running along calles Pisones and Doctor Fleming.
- Police closed the facility’s entrances and exits as National Police, local officers and firefighters secured the area in response to multiple 112 calls.
- Veterinary teams prepared anesthetic darts while firefighters positioned a truck across the exit, and the deer was later sedated with a blowpipe.
- Around 19:30 the deer was immobilized, treated for wounds and transported by firefighters to a natural area for release, with no injuries to people reported.
