Overview
- Security video obtained by local outlets shows the deer sprinting across the parking lot, colliding with a woman who had just exited the business, then leaping through a front window into The Wishy Washy Laundry.
- The animal ran among machines and overturned carts as customers and employees scrambled, then left the building through the broken window and escaped down the road.
- Owner Corey Pendergrass described the episode as a 'one in a million' event and said he was relieved no one inside suffered serious injuries.
- A local company, Pfaf's Glass, repaired the smashed window within hours and the laundromat reopened within 24 hours after staff cleaned up the mess.
- Coverage from multiple local outlets relies on the same security footage and owner and employee accounts, which show the full sequence of events and confirm there was no prolonged closure or reported law‑enforcement action.
