Overview
- On Tuesday the pair posted a family photograph on Deepika’s Instagram introducing their second daughter as Devi Padukone Singh.
- The portrait shows Deepika cradling the newborn in a golden swaddle while Ranveer holds elder daughter Dua, who leans in to kiss her baby sister, with the family dressed in coordinated cream and gold outfits.
- The child was born on September 19, 2026, and the couple first announced the birth with a separate Instagram post that featured a tiny footprint and the date.
- The Dussehra post drew immediate congratulatory messages from fans and several celebrities in the comments and has been widely reported by Indian media.
- The announcement follows Deepika and Ranveer’s earlier April 2026 pregnancy reveal and fits their pattern of selective public sharing around festivals while they balance growing family life with pending film commitments.
