• UNLP hosted a conversatorio in La Plata on Aug. 25 where researchers outlined results from the Talud Continental IV exploration of the Mar del Plata submarine canyon.
• The team reported at least 40 new species candidates, including soft corals, anemones, snails and carnivorous sponges observed to depths of about 3,900 meters.
