Overview
- Deal pages report heavily discounted lifetime Office 2021 SKUs being offered by third-party sellers, with examples including Office Professional 2021 for Windows for $27.97 and Office Home & Business 2021 for Mac for $89.97.
- Windows Professional 2021 bundles include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher, and a free Teams tier and typically bind the license to a single PC rather than a Microsoft account.
- Mac Home & Business 2021 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote, installs on one Mac and ties the license to a Microsoft account instead of the device.
- Purchases deliver an emailed redemption code that must be activated quickly, commonly within seven days, and sellers note these perpetual licenses do not run in virtual machines such as Parallels.
- The deals offer a way to avoid Microsoft 365’s roughly $99.99 annual fee but sacrifice cloud storage, continuous subscription features, and some ongoing app support, so buyers should check compatibility, transfer rules, and support timelines before buying.
