  • Raymone Debose pleaded guilty to first-degree murder of a police officer and felony firearm on July 29 and agreed to a 33-to-60-year prison term plus two years.
  • Marquis Lamar Goins received a combined 8-to-30-year term for carjacking, two years for a felony firearm conviction, 5-to-20 years for conducting a criminal enterprise and 1-to-5 years for concealing a stolen vehicle after entering his plea earlier this month.
  • Karim Blake Moore is serving consecutive sentences imposed in May after admitting involvement in a criminal enterprise, concealing stolen vehicles and possessing a firearm.
  • Deputy Reckling, a nine-year law enforcement veteran and father of three, was mortally wounded on June 22, 2024, while pursuing an SUV stolen from Red Oaks Waterpark.
  • Wayne County prosecutors say the three men helped run an organized auto-theft operation across Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties beginning in November 2023.
