Overview

• At around 10:30 am on May 31, a red Toyota Prius collided with three Vespas on the A36 at Knook
• Robert Best, 62, was declared dead at the scene and two other riders in their 60s died of injuries in hospital on June 5 and June 12
• Best’s family described him as “loved and adored by all who knew him” and recalled his adventurous spirit and devotion to his family
• The motorcyclists were part of a local scooter club en route to Normandy when the collision occurred
