DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Is Saturday, 10 A.M.–2 P.M.

The free, anonymous drop-offs help prevent misuse, reduce accidental poisonings, protect waterways.

  • The DEA and local law enforcement will host no-questions-asked collection sites nationwide with drive-through and walk-up options on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Accepted items include tablets, capsules, patches and tightly sealed liquids in original containers, while syringes, sharps, aerosols and illicit drugs are not taken.
  • Vape or e-cigarette devices are accepted only with batteries removed, and labels do not need to be taken off medication containers.
