Deafheaven Announces New Album 'Lonely People With Power' and Releases Lead Single 'Magnolia'

The renowned metal band returns to its black metal roots with a new album set for release on March 28 via Roadrunner Records.

Deafheaven's upcoming album, 'Lonely People With Power,' marks their first release with Roadrunner Records and is set to drop on March 28, 2025.
The album features 12 tracks, including collaborations with Boy Harsher’s Jae Matthews and Interpol’s Paul Banks, making it the band's longest tracklist to date.
Lead single 'Magnolia' showcases a return to the band's black metal roots, with intense riffs, screeching vocals, and blast beats, and is accompanied by a music video directed by Chelsea Jade and Sean Stout.
The album was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen and mixed by Zach Weeks at GodCity Studio, continuing the band's partnership with Meldal-Johnsen from their 2021 album, 'Infinite Granite.'
Deafheaven has announced limited edition vinyl variants and a deluxe double-LP edition for pre-order, with additional tour dates expected to be revealed soon.
