Despite recent box office disappointments, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) brand remains strong with 'Deadpool 3' being the only MCU movie on the calendar for 2024.
Anticipation for a film does not automatically translate to financial success, as shown by the highest-grossing film of 2023, 'Barbie', which did not make Fandango's list last year.
