Overview
- Battlefield 6 launched the limited Dead Space crossover called Marker Incursion on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, and the broader event runs through Nov. 10, 2026.
- Marker Incursion is a PvE adaptation of Battlefield’s Rush mode that supports up to 16 players fighting Marked Soldiers, wielding a DS-23 Pulse Rifle pickup, and attempting to destroy a Marker before Convergence occurs.
- EA Motive, the studio behind the 2023 Dead Space remake, led development of the crossover and has said the event is non-canon and built as a standalone celebration of the series.
- Players can earn both free and paid Dead Space-themed rewards, including permanent unlocks such as Isaac Clarke–style suits, weapon skins, emblems, and two timed store bundles priced in Battlefield Coins.
- The crossover continues a pattern of using in-game collaborations to keep Dead Space visible while reporting and former staff comments suggest there are currently no confirmed plans for a new mainline entry and the franchise’s future remains uncertain.
