Dead & Company Launches Global Pay-Per-View for 60th-Anniversary Polo Fields Residency

A remastered “Grateful Dead Movie” will screen in IMAX on Aug. 13–14 to continue the anniversary festivities.

  • Dead & Company has sold out its Aug. 1–3 Golden Gate Park concerts, each expected to draw over 60,000 fans, and will offer a global pay-per-view livestream in HD and 4K via nugs.net.
  • All pay-per-view purchases include 60 days of complimentary All Access to nugs.net’s archive, unlocking historic Grateful Dead recordings and performances.
  • Nationwide IMAX theaters will present the Aug. 3 closing performance live, with attendees receiving collectible mini-posters and lanyards.
  • San Francisco has deployed over 400 themed banners and expanded Muni service on the 5 Fulton, N Judah and 7 Haight lines with psychedelic vehicle wraps.
  • Opening acts for the residency feature Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson performing as Johnny Blue Skies and the Trey Anastasio Band.
