Overview
- On June 4, rapper DDG filed an emergency motion in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking to stop Halle Bailey from taking their 17-month-old son Halo overseas for a planned Italy trip.
- In his filing, DDG alleges Bailey poses an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to Halo, citing past threats of self-harm and an incident where she allegedly left home with a firearm while experiencing postpartum distress.
- Bailey secured temporary physical and legal custody in May after accusing DDG of physical and emotional abuse and obtained a restraining order that lapsed at the June 4 hearing.
- DDG is also asking the court for sole legal and physical custody of Halo or, if denied, for all custodial exchanges to be overseen by a neutral third party.
- A judge is expected to issue a ruling soon on the travel restriction and will hear further custody arguments at a June 24 hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court.
