DC Studios Developing 'Blue Beetle' Animated Series

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios are collaborating on a new animated series to expand the Blue Beetle universe.

Miguel Puga will serve as showrunner and director, with Cristian Martinez writing the series.
The series will build on the 2023 film's events but will tell its own unique story.
Several original cast members from the film have been approached to join the animated project.
The project has been in development since early this year, with no release date or platform announced yet.
If successful, the series could lead to a return of Blue Beetle to the big screen.
