DC Studios Developing Bane and Deathstroke Team-Up Movie

Screenwriter Matthew Orton has been tapped to pen the script for the upcoming film featuring two of Batman's most formidable villains.

DC Studios, led by James Gunn and Peter Safran, is developing a movie centered around Batman villains Bane and Deathstroke.
Matthew Orton, known for his work on Captain America: Brave New World, has been hired to write the script.
Both characters have appeared in previous DC adaptations, with Bane famously portrayed by Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises and Deathstroke by Joe Manganiello in Justice League.
The project is still in its early stages, with no director or actors attached yet, and will only proceed once the screenplay is complete.
This film continues the trend of villain-focused projects in the superhero genre, following successes like Joker and The Penguin series.
