Overview
- A new Leipzig–Wrocław–Kraków route will run two trains per day in each direction, with one service extending to Przemyśl near the Ukrainian border.
- Berlin–Warsaw will add a seventh daily train pair, creating a two-hourly frequency with a journey time of about five hours.
- New overnight EuroCity services are planned from Berlin to Przemyśl and from Berlin to Chełm via Łódź and Warsaw.
- The existing Munich–Warsaw night train will gain additional coaches serving Munich, Kraków and Przemyśl.
- Coordinated connections in Leipzig are expected to cut travel times from Munich, Nuremberg or Frankfurt to southern Poland by roughly two hours.
