- Exit 30 leading to Davidson College is now officially designated the Stephen Curry Interchange, with the sign unveiled at halftime of the Wildcats’ home game against Duquesne at John M. Belk Arena.
- Stephen Curry attended the ceremony, joined by his wife Ayesha, father Dell, son Canon, and Warriors teammates Draymond Green and Moses Moody, with Jimmy Butler also taking in part of the game.
- The naming originated from a Dec. 7, 2024 proposal to the North Carolina Board of Transportation by a group including former Davidson president Thomas Ross, Sonya Curry, and Bob McKillop, and it received unanimous approval.
