David Tennant Confirms He Was Born with an Extra Toe

The actor revealed he has polydactyly, a congenital condition, and will host the BAFTA Film Awards for the second year in a row.

David Tennant disclosed in an interview that he was born with polydactyly, resulting in six toes on his right foot.
The condition, which translates to 'extra digits,' is congenital and occurs in approximately 1 in 500-1,000 births.
Tennant described his extra toe as a small nubbin located on the little toe side of his right foot.
He is set to host the BAFTA Film Awards on February 16, marking his second consecutive year in the role.
Tennant also continues his acting career with upcoming roles, including a lead part in ITV’s drama 'The Hack.'
