David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham Join 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' as Kara’s Parents

The DC Studios film, based on Tom King’s acclaimed comic series, has begun production in the UK with Milly Alcock starring as Supergirl.

David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham have been cast as Kara Zor-El's parents in the upcoming DC Studios film 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.'
The movie is based on Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s 2021 comic series, which follows Supergirl on a cosmic quest for justice alongside a young alien girl named Ruthye.
Milly Alcock, known for her role in 'House of the Dragon,' will play Supergirl, with Jason Momoa set to cameo as Lobo and Matthias Schoenaerts playing the antagonist Krem of the Yellow Hills.
Filming has commenced in the UK under the direction of Craig Gillespie, with a script penned by Ana Nogueira.
Alcock is expected to debut as Supergirl in James Gunn’s 'Superman,' releasing July 11, 2025, ahead of 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,' scheduled for release on June 26, 2026.
