• David Hayter voiced Solid and Naked Snake for 12 years before Konami recast the role with Kiefer Sutherland in Metal Gear Solid V.
• In 2016 Hayter refused to play Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, describing them as “60 hours of humiliation.”
• He has since completed both titles and declares Metal Gear Solid V’s open-ended gameplay his favorite in the franchise.
• Hayter met Kiefer Sutherland in Dallas, shared drinks and says he holds “no ill will” toward his onetime replacement.
