David Fincher to Direct Netflix Spin-Off 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth'

David Fincher will direct from Quentin Tarantino’s screenplay as production begins in July 2025.
The film adapts Tarantino’s formerly shelved script The Movie Critic, once planned as his tenth and final project.
It will stream on Netflix under a reported $200 million budget, with Tarantino earning $20 million for the script.
Set years after the 2019 film, the story will follow Booth as a Hollywood fixer navigating late-1960s Los Angeles.
The ensemble cast features Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan with Brad Pitt leading and excludes Leonardo DiCaprio’s character.
