David Ayer Partners with Damien Chazelle for 'Heart of the Beast' at Paramount

Following the success of 'The Beekeeper', Ayer is set to direct a new thriller produced by Chazelle.

The film follows a former Navy SEAL and his combat dog trying to return to civilization after an accident in the Alaskan wilderness.
Ayer's recent movie, 'The Beekeeper', starring Jason Statham, was a commercial success, grossing over $150 million globally.
Chazelle, who directed 'La La Land', is producing the project under his Wild Chickens Productions banner.
Ayer has expressed a desire for Warner Bros. to release his version of 'Suicide Squad', but has since stated he is 'done' with DC Studios.
