David and Jessica Oyelowo's production company, Yoruba Saxon, has signed a multi-year, first-look deal with Apple TV+ to develop and produce series and features.
Yoruba Saxon has produced notable works including 'Lawmen: Bass Reeves', 'Nightingale', 'A United Kingdom', and 'The After'.
David Oyelowo, who recently starred in Apple series 'Silo', is set to star in the upcoming Apple dramedy 'Government Cheese'.
'Silo', in which Oyelowo stars, has been renewed for a second season.
The deal with Apple TV+ is one of the first of its kind announced since the end of the writers and actors strikes.
