Dave Loggins, Acclaimed Singer-Songwriter, Passes Away at 76

Known for the hit 'Please Come to Boston' and the Masters theme 'Augusta', Loggins left a lasting mark on music and sports.

Loggins died at Alive Hospice in Nashville; no cause of death was disclosed.
He was a Grammy-nominated artist and a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
'Please Come to Boston' reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1974.
His song 'Augusta' has been the theme for the Masters Tournament since 1982.
Loggins is survived by three sons and a grandson; no funeral will be held per his wishes.
