Chappelle, who has faced criticism for his jokes about transgender people, reportedly felt 'blindsided' by Boebert's caption and claimed he was 'tricked' into the photo.
Chappelle was in Washington, D.C. for an 'Art is Activism' event at his high school alma mater, Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
Boebert and Luna's posts have since been deleted from social media.
