Davante Adams Expresses Frustration, Las Vegas Raiders Confirm No Plans to Trade Him

Despite numerous missed opportunities in Raiders' loss to Lions and Adams' sideline outburst, Raiders insist star receiver is not on trading block.

Davante Adams, wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, expressed frustration and anger over his lack of contributions in the Raiders' recent 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions. Despite being targeted seven times, Adams only managed to catch one pass.
Adams' frustration came to a head when he was seen slamming his helmet on the bench in reaction to being overthrown by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
Despite the timing of these incidents being close to the NFL's trade deadline, both the Raiders and Adams himself have maintained that a trade is not being considered.
This is Adams' second season with the Raiders after seven years with the Green Bay Packers. His performance has dipped this season with only 47 receptions, compared to his first season where he achieved 100 catches.
Any potential trade of Adams may be unlikely given his expensive contract with the Raiders, which is valued at $140 million over five years and signed in 2022.
