Datafolha Finds Organized Crime Presence Near 19% of Brazilians, Up From 14% Last Year

The June survey predates operations that later detailed alleged PCC infiltration into fuel and financial markets.

  • Among those living near criminal groups, 27% reported knowledge of clandestine cemeteries and 40% said they see open drug-use areas on daily routes.
