Darren Star and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas Adapt 'Climbing in Heels' for Peacock

The story follows five secretaries navigating the challenges and ambitions of 1980s Hollywood, highlighting themes of friendship, betrayal, and survival in a male-dominated industry.
The novel 'Climbing in Heels,' written by Goldsmith-Thomas, will be published on April 29, 2025, by St. Martin's Press.
This marks the first major project under Darren Star's new multi-year deal with Universal Television, with production by Darren Star Productions and EGTV Productions.
