Darius Slay and Matt Patricia Repairing Relationship After Strained Past

Darius Slay, cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, previously had a strained relationship with senior defensive analyst Matt Patricia when they were both part of the Detroit Lions organization.
Patricia allegedly made disrespectful comments toward Slay, calling him not an "elite" cornerback despite Slay coming off an All-Pro season.
Slay signed an extension with the Eagles this offseason while Patricia was fired from the Lions midseason last year after going 13-29-1 over two-plus seasons as head coach.
The Eagles hired Patricia as a senior defensive analyst, reuniting him with Slay, who says their relationship has been "cordial" since coming together in Philadelphia.
Though there is no animosity, Slay and Patricia are keeping things professional as they work together again.
