Daria Cercek Joins Disney as President of Live Action Theatrical Films

The former Paramount Pictures executive will oversee Disney's live-action theatrical slate, reporting to David Greenbaum.

Daria Cercek leaves her role as co-president of Paramount Pictures' Motion Picture Group to lead Disney's Live Action Theatrical division.
Cercek will spearhead the development and production of Disney's live-action films, including adaptations of classic animations and original projects.
She brings extensive experience from Paramount, where she oversaw major projects like 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3,' 'Gladiator II,' and the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise.
Cercek will report to David Greenbaum, who heads Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios, following Disney's 2024 reorganization of its film divisions.
Upcoming live-action projects under her purview include 'Snow White,' 'Lilo & Stitch,' and a live-action 'Moana' remake.
