'Daredevil: Born Again,' 'The Penguin' Halt Production Amid Ongoing Writers Strike

Marvel's "Daredevil: Born Again" series for Disney+ and DC's "The Penguin" spinoff of "The Batman" have stopped production due to the writers strike.
The strike began May 2 and has disrupted productions of various shows and films as writers picket.
Colin Farrell, set to star in "The Penguin," joined writers on picket lines to show his support for the strike.
"Daredevil: Born Again," a continuation of the Netflix series starring Charlie Cox, is three months into filming its 18 episodes.
"The Penguin" was also temporarily shut down several times before halting completely and stars Colin Farrell as the iconic villain in Matt Reeves' "The Batman" world.
