D'Anton Lynn Hired as USC's New Defensive Coordinator

Former UCLA Defensive Coordinator to Revamp USC's Struggling Defense

Overview

USC has hired D'Anton Lynn, former UCLA defensive coordinator, as their new defensive coordinator.
Lynn led UCLA's defense to become the best in the Pac-12 and one of the top 20 in the nation in his first season.
USC's previous defensive coordinator, Alex Grinch, was fired after the team allowed an average of 34.5 points per game this season.
Lynn's hiring is expected to lead to a revamping of USC's defensive staff as the team prepares to move to the Big Ten next season.
Lynn's deal with USC is expected to make him one of the highest-paid defensive coordinators in college football.
