Danish Chikna, Key Dawood Ibrahim Associate, Arrested in Mumbai Drug Case

The arrest follows a weeks-long investigation into a drug network linked to the infamous gangster's operations in Dongri.

Danish Merchant, also known as Danish Chikna, was arrested in Mumbai along with his associate Kader Gulam Sheikh for alleged involvement in a drug racket.
The arrests are part of an investigation that began on November 8, following the seizure of narcotics from two individuals who identified Merchant as their supplier.
Merchant is accused of managing drug operations for Dawood Ibrahim in the Dongri area and has a history of arrests in drug-related cases.
Police tracked Merchant and Sheikh after weeks of surveillance, locating them in Dongri based on a tip-off and apprehending them on December 13.
Authorities have charged the suspects under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and are investigating their connections to organized crime.
