Daniel Selznick, Hollywood Producer and Legacy Keeper, Dies at 88

Selznick, son of 'Gone With the Wind' producer David O. Selznick, passed away at the Motion Picture Country Home in Woodland Hills.

Daniel Selznick was the last direct link to Hollywood's foundational families.
He produced the Peabody-winning documentary 'The Making of a Legend: Gone With the Wind.'
Selznick served as a production executive at Universal Studios and directed the Louis B. Mayer Foundation.
His memoir, 'Walking With Kings,' is set for publication next year.
Selznick had no immediate survivors and was remembered for his intelligence, charm, and generosity.
