Daniel Battsek Appointed President of Film at Lincoln Center

The former Film4 chairman and Miramax executive will begin his new role on May 1, 2025, following a unanimous selection by the board.

Daniel Battsek, a veteran film executive, has been named President of Film at Lincoln Center, succeeding Lesli Klainberg.
His appointment follows a comprehensive international search led by a seven-person board committee and recruiting firm Stanton Chase.
Battsek brings extensive experience from leadership roles at Film4, Miramax, National Geographic Films, and Film London.
He is set to assume his role on May 1, 2025, reporting directly to the Film at Lincoln Center board of directors.
Battsek expressed his commitment to enhancing the center’s programming, mission, and global presence during this transformative period for the film industry.
