Dana White Announces $50,000 'Proper Chaos' Bonus for UFC 331
White tied the one-night prize to Paramount+'s MobLand season 2 premiere as a cross-promotion and will choose the winner at his discretion.
Overview
- UFC CEO Dana White announced on Monday that one fighter at UFC 331 will earn a $50,000 'Proper Chaos' bonus linked to the MobLand season 2 premiere on Paramount+.
- White said he set no objective criteria for the award and will personally decide which fighter 'deserves it most' when he hands it out at the Sept. 19 event in Los Angeles.
- The Proper Chaos bonus is a one-off promotional prize and will be added on top of the UFC's regular post-fight pay structure, including the four $100,000 Fight Night awards and $25,000 finish bonuses.
- UFC 331 is scheduled for Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena and is headlined by a flyweight title rematch between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja with Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mauricio Ruffy as the co-main.
- The move continues a pattern of personality-driven promotions by White and reflects the UFC's larger commercial tie-up with Paramount that prompted the earlier doubling of standard fight-night bonuses this year.
