  • AEMET has issued special advisories across ten regions from Galicia to Catalonia for a DANA-driven outbreak of very strong storms from Friday through Saturday.
  • Forecasts call for hail under two centimeters and gusts exceeding 70 km/h in northeastern areas such as the Pirineo, Barcelona, Lleida, Teruel, Mallorca and Menorca.
  • Maximum temperatures in Andalusia are expected to fall from highs of 38–40 °C to around 30–31 °C this weekend as the DANA passes and poniente winds pick up.
  • Argentina’s SMN predicts persistent rain and 68 percent humidity in the Buenos Aires metro with highs of 12–15 °C, while a cloudy front brings showers and lows near 13 °C to Tucumán.
  • José Luis Escudero forecasts a terral-driven heat spike up to 36 °C in Málaga over the weekend, accompanied by low humidity and moderate to strong winds.
