Damien Chazelle to Head Venice Film Festival Jury as President

Damien Chazelle will preside over the competition jury of the 80th Venice Film Festival
French director Alice Diop will head the jury panel of the fest’s Luigi De Laurentiis Award for best debut film
Italy’s Jonas Carpignano will be president of the jury of the Horizons section for more cutting-edge works
Chazelle is a Venice regular, having opened the Lido event on two occasions
The festival will run from August 30th to September 9th
